Each piece of work your agent runs draws your balance, and the Usage screen shows every action. Idle draws nothing.
The floor — zero balance
The absolute stop. If your balance reaches zero the work simply pauses — nothing is lost, no overage, no charge you did not choose.
Can I bring my team?
A Personal plan is one person's — your files, your computer, your sign-ins. You can share any file or folder with someone for viewing. When an organization wants one workspace for its people — an admin, a seat for each person, one bill — that is a Team workspace, and we set it up with you.
What's “usage”?
Usage is the model work your agent runs — a piece of research, a draft, a change made in a file or on a page. It draws your balance as it happens, and you see every action on your Usage screen. Only what actually ran counts. The engine you pick is the biggest lever on what it costs — how to choose one.
Why a plan, and not only pay-as-you-go?
So you know what a month costs. The plan's price covers an ordinary month of work; a heavy month is a top-up you choose, never a bill that arrives. What the plan includes does not carry over to the next month; a top-up does.
Do I need a paid plan? Not to start. The $3 starting balance does real work. When it is spent the work pauses, and the Personal plan — $20 a month, $15 of usage included — continues it.

If your balance runs out, the work simply pauses. On the Personal plan, top up any amount — it never expires — or wait for the plan to renew. Nothing is lost while paused.
If you cancel, the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for. Your workspace and every file remain yours.
